The Livestock Novice Club meets the 4th Thursday of the month at the Boyd County Education Center's Franks Building at 7p.m. Members will learn about livestock and will have the opportunity to show their animal at the Boyd County Fair.

Event Description

The 4-H livestock program teaches proper methods of caring for, raising, breeding, and marketing farm animals. Youth learn about selection and evaluation, nutrition and feeding, health and daily care, reproduction, marketing, and much more.  They also learn to accept responsibility, value hard work, think critically, make decisions, and communicate.
